A surreal, darkly humorous drama inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.
When a mother and daughter become lost in a Northern dark wood (after taking a wrong turn at Goole on the road back from Ikea) they stumble on a stranger in the dead of night. Is he a hunter out to steal hearts, or a moorland hiker who’s seen the light. Will they row across the river into deeper despair, or find the path to the car before sunrise?
'I Can See The Sun' tenderly explores ancestral trauma, hope and recovery.

Echo In The Woods
A new version of Anton Chekhov's 'Uncles Vanya', written by Tania Khan.

Against a backdrop of the Russian Industrial Revolution, Echo In The Woods draws out the environmental themes of the original.
With live music; pop cloassics from 'A Flock Of Seagulls' and 'Chris Issaks' and beautiful video design by Jessica Brauner, the play asks what effect the destruction of the environment has on our relationship to each other.
